PR Strategy & Counsel


The Interop PR team is available to assist exhibitors and sponsors with any questions or issues you may have regarding your PR strategy before or during the event. Contact interoppr@ubm.com for information. 

Access to Media List


The media list is now available for download in the Exhibitor Portal which will be updated each Friday until the event. This list will give you the opportunity to coordinate on-site interviews and meetings with pre-registered press, analysts and bloggers prior to the event.

PR agencies will need to obtain login information to the Exhibitor Services portal from their client for access to the media list.

Inclusion in Official Press Release


If your company is planning on making an announcement leading up to or at Interop, we can help you increase the exposure. The Exhibitor Announcements press release is issued one week prior to the event on Monday, April 25, and showcases announcements about new products and services. See last year’s press release as an example. You can submit your announcement via the exhibitor portal until Friday, April 15.

Please note: Submissions cannot exceed 50 words. No marketing copy will be considered.

Meeting Space for Media Briefings


During Media Center hours, meeting space is available onsite for exhibitors who have secured briefings with the media. Reservation requests are now open via the form here.

Please note that the Media Center may only be used by exhibitors when accompanied by a member of the media.

The Media Center will be located in Mandalay Bay H.

Exhibitor Press Kit Materials


Exhibitors can drop off press kits in the Media Center beginning the first day of the event, Monday, May 4. Creative company information is always appreciated.

Press Release Guidelines


Interop owns its brands and content and must approve any third party use of its brands and content. If you plan to write a press release about your exhibitor announcement, sponsorship, or other activities around the event, please follow these guidelines:

  • The date and location of the event should be included in the first paragraph: Interop Las Vegas is happening May 2-6, 2016 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
  • Event boilerplate should be included in the press release (see boilerplate below).
